Wrap Around Care Information for Parents

Riverside has both Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club each morning and evening. If you have booked a place for Breakfast Club, the staff will be responsible for your child until they are lined up at 9.15am with their class. If you have booked a place for Afterschool club, the staff will be responsible for your child from 3.15pm.

To book a space, please use the Parent Portal on Arbor. Please be aware there are limited spaces so services may become full and parents will have to arrange alternate childcare options.

Please make sure you have updated your information on the Parent Portal on Arbor so staff have your up-to-date contact information and know of any allergies etc.

For Afterschool Club, parents will need to sign children out when collected; only authorised persons may collect children from Afterschool Club.

Breakfast Club enter and Afterschool Club leave at the Farncombe Street gate – please buzz and wait for a member of staff.

Breakfast Club starts at 8am. They will have breakfast and then participate in varied activities which include sports coaching.

Afterschool Club finishes at 5.45pm and all children must be collected by this time at the latest. You can collect earlier if you wish.

FEES

Parents are responsible for paying fees at the correct time. Please visit the Parent Portal on Arbor for updates and breakdowns. Reminders will be sent out from the Arbor app on a weekly basis.

You are never charged for days your child does not attend – the fees will roll over.

You can pay by bank transfer, childcare vouchers or cash. Please let school know which option you would like to select; you will receive a receipt if you pay by cash. You can also make card payments using the Arbor app.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is £5.00 per day for the first child and £3.00 per day for any other children in your family who attend on the same day.

Afterschool Club

Afterschool Club £7.00 per day for the first child and £6.00 per day for any other children in your family who attend on the same day.

Paying half term/term in advance

If you wish to do this please email wraparoundcare@riverside.southwark.sch.uk and you will be sent the amount for the term/half term and when it needs to be paid by so as not to incur additional charges. As each term is different and each child attends at different times these need to be individually calculated.

Non-payment of fees

Non-payment of fees may result in a placement being withdrawn. Parents can keep track of payments and credit through the Arbor app. Reminders will also be sent via email. If after the third reminder fees are still not paid, the place will be withdrawn.

Additional Information

Here is some additional information that you may wish to know:

• There is always a member of teaching staff on site
• The focus is on “play” during these times. We aim to extend your child’s learning through fun, stimulating activities and develop social, physical and creative skills
• We expect all pupils to follow the same Riverside principles and ethos of equality, behaviour, Health and Safety etc.
