At Riverside, high expectations are achieved through creating a purposeful learning atmosphere which maximises opportunities for pupils to reach their full potential.

IMPORTANT: EARLY SCHOOL CLOSURE DUE TO RED WEATHER ALERT

Due to the Red Weather Alert in place for London and the exceptionally high temperatures expected this week, Riverside School will close at 1:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

Please collect your child at 1:00pm on both days.

Breakfast Club will operate as normal.
Afterschool Club will not run on Wednesday or Thursday.
All pupils will receive lunch before dismissal. A simplified menu of pizza and sandwiches will be served on both days.
Parents who choose to keep their children at home during the heatwave should email attendance@riverside.southwark.sch.uk. These absences will be authorised.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as necessary.

Please note: The Summer Fair scheduled for Friday 26 June has been cancelled. Further information will be shared in due course.
