Y4 (Skiffs)

Welcome Skiffs! We hope everyone had a lovely summer. It’s nice to see everyone back and ready for Year 4.

PE kits need to be brought in for Monday.

Book bags need to be brought in for Monday.

If your child is still reading their book, please still bring it in so we can check their progress and they can then take it home again.

This half term, children are still working on their targets that were sent home with their reports. If you are unsure of their target, please contact the office to find out.

Topics - Autumn 2
Maths - Multiplication and Division.  Known multiplication facts and deriving other facts, such as 3 × 4 = 12, therefore 300 × 4 = 1200 or 120 ÷ 4 = 30.  Distributive and associative laws for multiplication, as well as the formal methods for multiplication and division.
